Instructor

My name is John Guntner and I've worked as a free-lance paralegal for over twenty-five (25) years. I've been involved in a large array of cases from misdemeanor to capital murder cases. I also serve as an Instructor for the Virginia Center For Paralegal Studies. My two favorite classes are Criminal Law and Legal Research & Writing.

I love to write and have authored multiple appellate briefs under the supervision of an attorney. I've also written two novels and both have been published. My latest book is titled War At Home where a Vietnam veteran returned home from war to encounter a completely new war in his hometown courtroom.

My wife, Talula, and I reside in the Washington D.C. area. Our Georgian daughter, Taona, recently graduated from college and married her physician-husband. They live in Atlanta, Georgia which gives me the opportunity to travel.
