My name is Monica Sokolsky. I serve as the Assistant Director of the Virginia Center for Paralegal Studies. After graduating from Carnegie-Mellon University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), I continued my education at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of my studies, I received my Master’s in Music (MM). I've taught at the univeristy level in Pennsylvania as well in Brazil where I taught music, art & history in Brazil. My studies in business and office management from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) has provided me the expertise to work in proprietary education. I also serve on the Virginia Center for Paralegal Studies' Board of Directors.
As the Assistant Director, I am afforded the opportunity to serve in different capacities. These include developing and maintaining comprehensive student development training. I also maintain support services and information on campus, community resources for students, and facilitate internal and external communications, media outlets and marketing tools for our school. I also serve as the Internship Coordinator.
