Upload Resumes and Pictures

This page is for use by VCPS staff only. Access can only be gained thru the password protected control panel.

Resume File Name Rules

The following file naming rules must be followed EXACTLY for resumes that are to be uploaded to the site.

• The persons name must be spelled exactly the same as the name entered into the database.
   
• Use + instead spaces to separate names.
  Example:  John+Smith
    
• The file extension should be DOC or doc
  Example: John+Smith.DOC
    
• If the name entered in the database ends in a period e.g. .Jr., then the file name must include two (2) periods.
  Example: John+Smith+Jr..DOC

If these rules have not been followed, return to your Windows environment and rename the files before uploading them.

Picture File Name Rules

The following file naming rules must be followed EXACTLY for pictures that are to be uploaded to the site.

• The persons name must be spelled exactly the same as the name entered into the database.
   
• Use + instead spaces to separate names.
  Example:  John+Smith
    
• The file extension should be JPG or jpg
  Example: John+Smith.JPG
    
• If the name entered in the database ends in a period e.g. .Jr., then the file name must include two (2) periods.
  Example: John+Smith+Jr..JPG

The picture itself should be sized to 100 pixels wide by 100 to 125 pixels high. Other sizes can be used but may look like they don't belong on the page.

If these rules have not been followed, return to your Windows environment and rename the files before uploading them.

Upload Resumes and Pictures

To upload a properly named file, click on browse and find the file on your hard drive. Select the file to be uploaded. Click Submit.
